Canada Will Invite Federal Skilled Workers & CEC Candidates
Federal Skilled Workers: Two weeks ago, Canadian Immigration Minister Sean Fraser informed CIC News that the IRCC was on its way to achieving its goal of having an all-program express entry draw on 6 July. The news was confirmed on Twitter on Monday. IRCC created this information in April. In addition, IRCC schedules to process most of the Express Entry applications within 6 months.
Express Entry is the main way IRCC welcomes economic class immigrants to Canada.
What is Express Entry?
The All-Program Express Entry draw happens when the IRCC assumes all candidates in the Express Entry pool and problems an Invitation to Applications for Permanent Residence (ITA) established on their CRS scores only.

IRCC Focused
Starting from January 2021, IRCC concentrated on requesting only CEC candidates. IRCC continues a bi-weekly draw requesting only Provincial Nominee Program candidates to help provinces and territories meet their labor market needs.
From its inception in 1967 until 2020, the Federal Skilled Worker Program was the main path through Canada, welcome skilled immigrants. Before the pandemic, the FSWP (Federal Skilled Workers Program) included about 45% of those accepting Express Entry ITAs.
The recovery of the all-program draw is too big news for CEC nominees. The CEC is the primary method of getting permanent residency for Canada’s large international student and foreign worker population.
The CEC has increased in prominence in recent years as Canada has depended on this pool to achieve its immigration level goals.
How does Express Entry work?
Express Entry is a two-stage process.
In phase one, nominees need to guarantee that they meet the standards for at least one of the three Express Admission programs.
Candidates can upload their Express Entry Profile on the IRCC website if they satisfy the criteria. Candidates acquire a CRS score established on their human capital factors such as age, education, language skills, and work experience.
Those invited for permanent residency have 60 days to submit their application to IRCC. IRCC aims to process most applications in 6 months or less.
