Express Entry Draw: Canada invites 829 PNP Candidates
Canada invited 829 Express Entry nominees to apply for permanent residency on April 27. All invited nominees had previously obtained nominations from a Provincial Nominating Program and had a CRS of at least 772. The minimum score was rather high because EE candidates are automatically counted 600 points to their scores when they obtain a provincial nomination. Without registration, the lowest-scoring candidates would have had 172 basis points (829 nominees).
In the last invitation round, IRCC invited 787 PNP candidates with a score of at least 782.
FSWP and CEC will resume in July
Canadian Immigration Minister Sean Fraser declared the previous week that ee invitations for Federal Skilled Worker Program and Canadian Experience Class candidates will continue by early July. Also, a majority of the new EE applications will earlier again be processed within the service standard of 6 months.
What is Express Entry?
