Registration for the most sought-after US H-1B visa will begin on March 1 and will be open until March 18, 2022. The US Citizenship and Immigration Services System (USCIS) has issued a press release saying that during this period, petitioners and representatives can complete their registration using online H-1B registration.

A $10 H-1B registration fee must be paid. Potential petitioners presenting their registration and registrants (US employers and US agents, collectively referred to as “Registrants”) will use a “Registrant” account. The registrants will be able to create new accounts from noon on February 21.”

Selection Notifications

“If we receive enough registrations, prospective applicants will be randomly selected by March 18, and selection notifications will be sent through their myUSCIS online account by March 31,” the release said.

The H-1B visa is a non-immigrant visa that allows US companies to hire foreign workers in specific positions. American tech companies recruit thousands of employees every year from India and China on the basis of this visa.
